The pot looks rather big for the size of the plant. Especially if that pic isn’t current and he’s down to 3 leaves 🍃. I’d look at the roots, check for mushy or smelly brown roots and remove them. Repot in smaller pot with fresh soil. Lightly water and then let it recover a few days before adding any more water. It may not even need any for several days. Too much soil, holding more water than the plant can process, leads to root rot. Hopefully the roots are good 👍
