Well i know that from my experience any herbs or veggies require LOADS of sun light, some like more direct than others but for the most part they require 3-6 hours minimum. Cat nip needs a lot but can somewhat tolerate a little. Have you checked to see if maybe it has spider mites? Get a flash light and look closed under the leaves for really itty bitty patches of webbing, or just stare at it or th pot/soil and if you see any tiny white dot looking bugs crawling its spider mites.
