Leaves keep turning brown and dry up
What can I do to stop this and why does it keep happening?

Brown crispy tips are usually from inconsistent watering, dry air, or tap water minerals/fluoride. I’d keep it in bright indirect light, water only when the top part of the soil dries out, and try filtered/distilled water if you can. Trim the dead brown parts off since they won’t recover. You could also use a humidifier nearby to fight any dry air.
Good luck! I have a Janet Craig but not the compacta one, and she does fine near a humidifier. I use filtered water from my fridge to water almost all my plants.
