Leaves falling off

The central leaves look a bit glassy and have detached from the plant. Am I right to think this is due to over watering?

Yes, this is the sign of overwatering.

Especially if they feel very squishy and wet its over watering.

You shouldn't need to water this as much as other houseplants as they like to dry out between waterings so make sure the soil is dry through before watering again.

Most likely it is from over watering. Watch it close, if those are leaves are squishy they might rot. Remove them and water it less, it will bounce back 🤞🏽
