What does my jelly bean plant have?

Hello there I recently saw this white stuff on my jelly bean plant. Could this be mold? And if so do I need to cut this off because I tried scraping it off but only a little came off and it also came back. What do I do? And how can I prevent this from coming back?

Spray rubbing alcohol on it and use a q-tip to wipe it off.. maybe from a mealy bug. But rubbing alcohol will kill whatever it is

Yup Nikki is right, looks like it’s bug stuff, spray it and clean it up. You can also trim it up if you get worried

@NikkiBplantmom thanks a lot! One last question should I quarantine this plant? Bc I have all my plants together and I don’t want it to spread if that is possible

Yes keep it away from other plants for about 2 weeks
