Hi just got this new succulent anyone know anything?
Its a moonstone
I have no idea but @Minadorae just made a post with a gorgeous plant that I believe is the same plant family as yours maybe she can help you.
Hello! In my experience most succulents are happy as long as their soil drains fast and they get tons of light. I plant newly adopted ones in a simple mix of 2 parts perlite, 1 part potting soil, and a terracotta pot (helps regulate soil moisture). Then they go under a grow light with a timer that turns it on for 16 hrs/day. No water for a week after repotting (gives any injuries time to heal), and after that I only water once every 14 days. Thatβs it!
I donβt have a Moonstone, but I do have a Sedum Clavatum which is closely related. Both plants are known for having rounded leaves. I notice yours have little tips, which is a trait more common among Echeveria. Attaching a photo of both types for your comparison, as well as photos from when they were newly adopted to show the effect of the soil+pot+light+watering schedule.
