No drain it I don’t think so. It’s gonna collect a lot of water at the bottom and that bottom is gonna be soggy soil and most plants hate soggy soil.

@Imissmydeaddog I think it depends on the mango. I have a honey mango [which is supposed to be slow growing] but even that one seems faster.

HOWEVER 8.2ft from light is VERY far. Ideally you'll want full sun for mangoes. My honey at least does quite well in full sun.

Move to a brighter window that gets at least 2hrs of direct sun. Supplement with 12-14hrs of grow lights it you'd like.
