Just wondering when I need a larger pot for this guy and ...

11โ€ pot

I think the size of the pot right now isn't too bad, maybe an inch or 2 bigger, unless the roots are really bound/tight, then 1-2 inches bigger around than the roots. It definitely needs drainage, though, and a good heavy pot that won't tip over. Terracotta or another glazed clay would be good. If it needs to come in during the winter then put it on a plant pot cart/wheel base thing so you don't have to lift it (or not much) and risk stabbing yourself/breaking the plant. It's a cactus, so full light is fine, but as long as it gets several hours of hot sun, it should be happy.
I agree with @Plantaholic78

Cacti don't usually have massive root systems and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. You'll stress out the plant and get cactus needles in your fingers and you might even break it (but then you'll have more plants!).

I think it looks great perched there like that. (: I'm glad you found Greg!
Thank you
