Why does this leaf look like this?

Since I’ve gotten this succulent I’ve notice its bottom leaves keep coming back looking like this. Even since before watering and such. I’ve picked off two in case they’d infect the other healthy looking leaves but I wonder what’s going on since it keeps coming back.

It's overwatering. You need to water once a month in Winter, once a fortnight in Spring and Autumn, and once a week in Summer (on average, adjusting to your place on Earth).
@SvelteKingfern I do water it a little less than 1\8 of a cup once a month. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should to now/ next?
When you water, you don't water little, you need to water in abundance (the plant needs water after all), but sparingly.

When you water, water needs to drip down from the drainage holes. That's how you know that's enough of water.

However, there's a better way of watering ALL succulents. Ypu put a pot with a plant in a bigger pot with water (bottom watering). Wait for 15 minutes (for small plants) and 20 to 25 minutes (for big plants). After that you remove a pot with a plant from a bigger pot with water.

You need to use only rain water or distilled water. There's too much minerals in tap or mineral water.
Your plant needs to be put 0 m from direct light. The best light is strong direct light, but dappled.
@SvelteKingfern I’ll have to try that this month. Thank you so much for the help!
You're welcome. Just introduce your plant to that direct light very gradually, 1 hour the first week, 2h the second week and so on (to prevent the sunburn. It's like us humans, we need to develop suntan not to get sun burned).
Your succulent will reward you with stunnung colours, not only green.
