Variegated Ficus dropping leaves?

I’ve done plenty of research for this plant to make sure I give it the optimal living environment and take care of her to the best of my ability but suddenly she has started dropping leaves like crazy!

I’ve been consistent with watering and checking the soil to make sure that there’s enough for her thrive but still… nothing. I haven’t moved her recently, she’s in the same spot as always.

I’d appreciate the help.

@GR1M Hi Grim, if we exclude watering and location then I would be looking more closely at any change in conditions, most likely due to a change in the season so temperature drops, etc.
The other option is to add some fertilizer in case it’s a nutrient imbalances

Have you checked for pests? I almost lost mine before I realized the little buggers were there.
@LadySugarvine I didn’t see any pests on it when I examined it but I’ll do a more thorough inspection. I’m not ruling it out, honestly.
@GR1M a good spray of Neem oil and a good shower wouldn't hurt
@Seymour Thank you for the help! I did research before asking and saw this being one of the suggested issues. I think it has something to do with it considering it’s been heading into winter here.
A shower and skipping a watering would help. It’s getting cold so they need less frequent waterings. My calathea are down to one watering every four weeks to stay healthy. They used to be every two weeks but have been to 4 weeks for the last two months.
