@TiptopArugula3 Hedge Cacti need to be watered every 2-3 weeks, or when the potting soil has completely dried out. For a pot your size, (4 inch) that means 1/4 to 1/2 cup (2 to 4 oz) every few weeks. Always check that the soil is completely dry before watering to avoid root or stem rot. Cacti do best in a well draining soil so a store bought succulent mix with some perlite added should be fine. They also prefer a porous pot so terracotta is perfect because it lets the soil dry better and make sure your pot has drainage holes, the water needs to flow out of the bottom of the pot the pot otherwise your roots will sit in soggy soil
