Hi friends, Nothing's wrong with my happy plants but I d...

I'm no expert but I see people recommending either ground cinnamon or neem oil
The gnats are harmless to your plants..but a small bowl of apple cider vinegar with a couple drops dishwashing liquid.will attract them and they can't escape, if they are bothering you. The Nats lay eggs on the soil and the adults just fly.around them
But harmless
@Shelly83 Welcome to the Greg community! To control a fungus gnat population, focus on eliminating their breeding ground: moist, decaying organic matter. This involves preventing overwatering, using good drainage, and removing decaying plant material. You can also use traps and other methods to further reduce the gnat population. I have recently been fighting fungus gnats and I have been using a multi pronged approach. 1) Cinnamon in all its forms, sprinkle a generous amount on the top soil. Cinnamon Oil drizzled over the top , and Cinnamon sticks stuck into the soil. 2) The use of the yellow sticky traps helps eliminate the adult gnats. 3) Sticking safety matches into the soil, the red head down. Fungus gnats hate sulphur, so make sure that the matches you are using contain sulphur, because not all do. 4) use the bottom watering technique Watering from the bottom can help keep the soil's surface dry, making it less attractive to gnats. (making sure that all your pots have drainage holes). 5) Hydrogen Peroxide Solution:
Dilute 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide with 4 parts water.
Water your plants with this solution only after the top layer of soil has dried.
The peroxide will safely kill gnat larvae and eggs without harming your plants. 6) Covering the soil surface with a layer of sand, diatomaceous earth, or fine gravel can prevent gnats from reaching the soil and laying eggs. These are just a few natural ways to eliminate fungus gnats. You can also use these methods prophylactic in order to prevent them from becoming established. Hope this helps!!
Probably neem oil may work. I did it for my outdoor plants last year and it worked. Just do it every 2 weeks cuz it is strong.hope this helps ! ðŸ˜ŠðŸŒą
