My leaves are turning yellow and dropping
This plant was initially in my bathroom but the leaves started to drop. Placed it near the window thinking that the plant has lacked of sunlight. But the issue is not improvingβ¦. #JapaneseSpindle
@HQHQ Iβm reaching out to @sarahsalith to see if she can help.
@KikiGoldblatt thank you!

Growing Conditions
Light: Lots of bright, indirect light is good.
Water: During the growth period from spring to fall they should be watered regularly. You can scale back their water during the winter.
Temperature: Room temperature is fine; they should receive about average warmth. Keep them in cool, temperate conditions during winter.
Soil: Though they can tolerate lots of conditions, their soil should be well-drained and moist. A typical potting soil mix should be good.
Fertilizer: They can be fed at the beginning of spring with a balanced fertilizer before growth starts. E. japonicus may also benefit from the application of root stimulator.

Wow!! What a neat looking plant! #wishlistplant for me. π
@KikiGoldblatt is totally right- she's one smart cookie! I would almost think this plant is sorta like a ficus. It needs bright light to thrive.
Personally, I'd pinch that leaf off. Usually I say leaf things alone, but that leaf won't do your plant any favors.
Take a pair of sterile scissors or justοΏΌ pinch it off with your fingernails.
It will take a good month or more to see any improvement when you move a plant. The plant will take time to adjust and then start to focus on growing again. It's a slow process, pack your patience. βΊοΈ

@HQHQ π¬ I just found a plant like yours online. It's a #wishlistplant no more! π€£
Do you know that over here that they are sold as bushes?! I guess I'll be trimming it up to make it as pretty as yours.
