An underwatered Hoya will dry out from the tip down and it will yellow the leaves followed by a very slow death.
An overwatered Hoya dies from the roots up and can sometimes die overnight.
Check the growth tip, is it dry? If so this baby needs watering a little more often, but if it’s good and healthy looking then the problem is in the roots. Check them out immediately and chop any dying roots, repot in the same mix, it sounds good! Or if there is hardly any roots left some lightly moist spaghnum is a good rooting medium for Hoya. Hoyas prefer soil to dry out 90-100%, a lot like succulents. You can also feel the leaves so see if they feel more flexible, this is a good indicator of when to water. I’m hoping this is just a case of underwatering, which can be fixed much faster 🫢 I hope this helps!
Probably not a goner but it looks like it may be over watered...the soil looks a bit dense (but it's a bit hard to see from the picture so that's just a guess!). What type of soil did you pot it in?
@hellokatelandia the soil was really dry actually, i just repotted the one a little lower then watered it. the soil was mixed perlite, orchid bark and succulent soil, i believe.
@carlsreid dang, that sounds like a good soil mix, so that must not be it! Sometimes I lose a few with repotting, maybe it's just adjusting to the new pot 🀞 the other two look really healthy so hopefully they take root.

@carlsreid I agree with @HoyaAddict πŸ’―
@HoyaAddict thanks! ya the soil was pretty dry and the roots weren’t settled into the soil properly, they looked ok so i put the roots in deeper then thoroughly watered, hopefully it takes 🀞🏼the leaves still feel fine but i feel they may be on their slow death path
