Yellowing Philo (Karma but make it Plants)

Hi #greggang, sorry I disappeared for a bit. I got stressed right before the holiday and I'm just coming up for air.

What's worse is that I've definitely been neglecting the wonderful gift @PlantCutie305 sent while in this state. 😣
(I fully believe some of this is karma for not thanking you properly when I got it.)

Thanks so much for the #philodendron, and I really am so grateful, but at this rate I think I might kill it. It arrived in perfect condition, but then it met me...

Hi CJ! Glad you're back!

You can definitely save this plant! My guess is that it's a major transplant shock since it went from climbing in FL to soil. It's working on growing roots right now and can't focus it's energy on the leaves.

You can leave it and just cut off the bad pieces as they become too far gone or you may still have time to take it from soil and put it in water to prop.

I'd also make sure it has lots of light and humidity since that's what it's used to and will help with getting the energy it needs!

You got this πŸ’ͺ🏼

Thanks for the tag, @PlantCutie305
That’s okay!!!! It can be saved!!!!!! Im so glad it made it alright. It’s getting enough light and it’s draining okay?? 🫢🏼
I love the name Lester πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜
@PlantMompy @DapperPineapple I agree!!!! It was climbing a huge tree in Miami so it’s probably just pissed but it will see it can survive just as happy with you too. Just give it time 😍πŸ€ͺ
sorry updated the details
whoa @PlantCutie305 I had no idea I was working with an outdoor cat. Okay so I'm sure he's tough.
I've got the humidifier going but he's not getting much light. @PlantMompy. I have a grown light that's on 12hrs a day for my succulents. Do you think I'd burn him if I move him near there?
@DapperPineapple Hello CJ you have some great advice from @PlantMompy.
@DapperPineapple probably not. They were getting major miami sun. They’re used to intense light. Ashley can confirm @PlantMompy
I think that would be great, CJ! I would start it a little ways from the light and move it closer over a day or two just to be sure it doesn't burn. While it came from light like that it was then in a box and low light so it's not as strong as it was.
