I would assume it’s from sun exposure, that happens to a lot of my succulents :-) it’s not a bad thing, I believe it’s called sun stress
@charlenebean ohh okay I was worried that it was something bad
@QuesterFern87 looking into it a little bit more, it could be too much sunlight the living stones are receiving, especially since the sun is stronger in summer months. Might be good to move the plant a lil further away from the window during the peak sun time where you are! I would just watch the plant and see how it reacts to that :,-)
@charlenebean where I am it’s actually winter
@QuesterFern87 my apologies! I’ve noticed the sun stress/color change with my plants in the winter too. That might be normal but not 100% sure, I’ve never had a problem with it when it happens to my plants. Might be good to look up a YouTube video about sun stress in different seasons, that might provide a lil bit more info though
@charlenebean okkk thank youu
@QuesterFern87 no problem at all, you’re inspiring me to get this kind of lithops too! I’ve never seen this kind before, it’s so cool
Hi! Concrete Leaf aren’t Lithops they’re a genus Titanopsis, I just did a deep dive on mine 😁. Yes they get coloration on the tips. Here’s mine. I think mine could even use a little more light. Many photos I’ve seen have a more silvery all over cast.
