Small white oblong bugs that are CRAWLING all over my little rescue plant now that she’s thriving πŸ™ƒ also found a few on my syngonium albo so dosed everything in groventative. They look like white flies, but white flies produce and feed on the underside of leaves. πŸ€”But, Mealybugs are suppose to be powdery or fuzzy looking. So it’s probably white flies. But I’m not sure.
▫️Quarantine this plant so these pest won’t infect the other plants in your oasis.
▫️Clean your plant leaves.
β€’by spraying the leaves with water to wash them off,
β€’or by using an insecticidal soap to wipe them off.
β€’or you can also spray the leaves with Neem oil.
β€’yellow sticky traps will trap the flying adult .
πŸ™I hope your your plant will make a speedy recovery.
So fungus gnats and thrips can look like this as well as several other pest. Id get some insecticide like captain jacks and just treat your baby and any others that were in close proximity. I thought I had thrips, turns out it was fungus gnats who just enjoyed my moist soil in my warm house πŸ˜‚
These look like thrips to me for sure. Whiteflies will jump off the leaf when you put your hand near them, but thrips won’t. Whiteflies are also *super* white. All the advice you got from these folks is great! Just be sure to treat regularly for a while, since thrips can be tough to eradicate fully.
@Kiersten ….☺️ I like your name πŸ˜‚
These look like thrips to me as well.
Thanks for B.A. vote.
I hope you will eradicate them quickly.

These look like thrips to me. They’re no joke. Here’s what I do: Isolate from any other plants. Cut off any infested leaves, and treat both the leaves and the soil. Leave it isolated for at least a month. If I see ANY sign still, I either toss it or give it to someone who REALLY loves dealing with bugs.
