Help with my spider plant

Placement is roughly three feet from window, no full on direct light. Water according to this app. Recently started to look pale and get the brown spots. Any auggestions?
What is its water situation? These like to be pretty snug in their pots and they can go through water pretty quickly. Graying leaves often mean they need water. That said it can also mean they’ve had too much water and rotted roots are no longer able to take it up.
App says 1/2 cup once a week or so? Should I repot in something larger?
No, Jeremy, repotting would not be the answer for this kind of situation unless there is root rot
@maci.in.bloom how can I tell?
@AthleteBlue Rotted roots will turn brown instead of their regular white color. This color of brown may spread up to the stems of the plants, but not the tips like yours is. If the roots are like this, you’ve caught it at an early stage of root rotting and look up how to help it immediately!οΏΌοΏΌοΏΌ
@maci.in.bloom don’t see brown roots. Read online to use distilled water. Have you heard of that?
@AthleteBlue Yes. This may work but is not a guarantee. Good luck πŸ€ to your plant and it’s distilled water πŸ’¦!
