My plant hasn’t grown in a while now, and it has starting...

Let's start with that pot. It's way too big. You might want to pull it out and check the roots. I would put it in a way smaller pot maybe try a plastic cup to start.
@planthoe40 okay, I think I have a small 1 liter terracotta pot, will that work?
@Louis yes that will work. Make sure you check his roots first for rot.
@planthoe40 alright, thanks a lot!πŸ™
, I always put trees outside. They never do as well indoors even with grow lights. I had to put my giant sequoia, my oak, and my cedar trees outdoors. They perk up outside. If I had this at my house, I would fertilize it and let it completely dry out between waterings and keep a pretty strong grow light close by. They need a lot of direct sunlight. But like I said, I’d put it outside. Let me ask you this, did it pop up in this pot that you have it in? Or did you put it there? If it’s sprouted in that pot, I’d leave it and it’s in such shaky condition. I wouldn’t transplant it right now.
@BambooLover I collected some acorns from a place nearby, wrapped them in some wet paper towel, and placed them in the fridge for about two months. When I came back, it sprouted and I then placed the roots directly into water, where it got its first leaf. Then I transplanted it into the big pot, where it got like two more leaves after several months, but I have now transplanted it into a smaller pot with directly sunlight from morning to evening πŸ‘πŸ»
@Louis great job🌱have you ever fertilized? I use a ready made Miracle Grow liquid for my seedlings and add grow lights and they improve immensely. Even if they get direct light indoors I find it’s not enough. I recently brought one back from the brink of disaster with the liquid food & light. Hope it improves for you!
@BambooLover I like to do it as natural as it can be, so fertilizer is not what I want, hahaπŸ˜
