@FreshFalsedaisy yes those theories are both true, if you want to save the bulb for the next year you might need to wait for the leaves to get floppy to cut them off. then you can put the plant in a dark spot in a paper bag to help growth in the future! but to be safe you can just deadhead the flowers and leave it to grow
These are my favorite flowers they smell so good πŸ₯°πŸ’œ wish I could help but I don’t know how to care for them πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ₯°
you can easily cut off its flower after blooming (cut from the deepest part that you can cut) then continue your weekly routine of water! thats my suggestion, im happy to help!
@Servicks thank you! They’re blooming really nicely but I read the blooms don’t last too long and you can save the bulbs for next year??
@Servicks thank you so much! The flowers are still blooming so I’ll wait till they all start to wither before packing the bulbs away 😊
My question is...when you grow hyacinths indoors and the leaves get really long without a bloom...what can you do?
@PlantMamaItaly I also would like to know the answer! My blooms only lasted about 2 weekss and I’m sure it’s because they were indoors :/
