Do the drooping bottom leaves need to be trimmed?

No, you usually don't need to trim bottom leaves, even if they're all droopy :) the plant can sort it on its own! If you're satisfied with my answer, please click "Best Answer!"
Hi @GutsyChilli67 it’s up to you. You can trim if it’s not esthetically pleasing for you. Or let them die off naturally. If she is drooping always check the soil. οΏΌFatsia get very dramatic when it’s thirsty. Also, I noticed that you have it in β€œOrchard bark”. While orchid bark is good for drainage purposes. I’m hoping you have some other nutrient rich soil or coir in with it? These plants require nutrient rich mixtures. And again, these guys grow quite rapidly, and you can always trim it to fit your desires and your space. I hope this helps? Here is a pic of mine. Happy growing ❣️
