Drooping aluminum plant leaves

Hi everyone! I'm new to Greg and just recently got into plants. I got this beautiful aluminum plant 2 days ago and today it has 4 drooping leaves and some browning :( It's been watered and was in front of a window with no direct sunlight. What did I do wrong and how can I help him get better?! The rest of the leaves seem to be fine! Thank you in advance for any advice :) #HappyPlants #NewPlantMom #AluminumPlant #helpneeded
I’m dealing with similar problems with my monkey plant. How’s the humidity?
@SDBurbstead I'm not sure, it's just in my living room so probably a normal amount for a home! It's been between 60-75 degrees outside and my thermostat is set at 67
Did you repot it and was the soil already damp when you got it. Also, sometimes there is a break we dont see, from either moving it, repotting, etc. But the rest of it looks great so i wouldnt be too worried. Could be just those leaves. Keep an eye on it though
Could be transplant adjustments. 2 days isn’t a long time and it’s normal to have some changes as it adjusts. Sounds like you’re doing the right things, just gotta let it level itself out after being adopted :) welcome to plant life β€” it’s addicting!
@KrunchyWrapz no I haven't repotted it! The soil was damp but I did try to bottom water it when I got it home just in case and it didn't take much water if any at all, so it seems it was well taken care of! Thanks for responding! :)
@Tealia thank you so much!!! It really is hahaha I bought 3 in 1 day and have already been looking for more 🀣
@FaerieGarden hahahaha. Yep! Sounds about right!
@FaerieGarden Try misting or moving to a location with higher humidity. I moved mine above the kitchen sink and it’s doing much better. Fewer yellowing leaves and no crispier.
@SDBurbstead I just got around to responding to this but I just want to thank you for this suggestion! I put mine above the kitchen sink and it is thriving :)
