How to save my tiny mint plant? #Dyingplant

I planted these from store bought mint (made them sprout some roots in a glass of water) and have been watering it about every 5 days. It’s on the windowsill and gets the evening sun from about 5-10pm (sun sets late here lol).

About 3 weeks ago the leaves started turning purple or some yellow and getting these dark brown crunchy spots. I’ve tried watering it more often or less often and neither seems to work 😭

But lately it grew these tiny little sprouts (seen better in the 2nd pic on the right), but they’re staying just as tiny lol #

Hi Alise πŸ‘‹ from what little I know about mint it could be a few different things... Yes watering can cause browning, but I suspect it's a nutritional issue (or possibly lack of humidity?)... I'm going to try and get you some help! I have a friend who is a whizz with herbs... @jesssjungle can you help? I know you have beautiful mint plants!
#help #greggang #plantmafia has anyone got some advice for Alise? Thanks Greggers! Xx
@JenniB81 thank you Jenni!
@alisealma hi Alise!!! I haven't grown this type of mint, but maybe I can help! I see your pot does not have drainage and that might be part of the problem. Sometimes this can cause root rot.
So this plant is supposed to be mostly green? Plants' foliage turning colors like this can be a sign of sun stressing. Mint needs 4-6 hours of bright sunlight. Usually they do well in a window though so I'm not certain!! πŸ€” Here is an article about growing mint indoors that might help:
