Sun bleached?

#EchinofossulocactusPhyllacanthusVViolaciflora I’ve moved all my cacti outside. They seem to be doing better, but this one looks like it’s been sun bleached. Is this normal? Should I give it less sun?

Changing locations or turning them around during the summer can cause them to burn out of nowhere sometimes since not acclimated to the new area or bright light on that side
Can you share a photo in the comments so we can see? It'd help us help you lol 😊
@KrunchyWrapz yes, I will take a pic when I get home from work
That looks like it's hella sunburnt, but I'm no expert. @SirLiquorice you're expertise is required
Yeah it’s sunburnt it appears. Needs more shade
It will heal in time. Years from now you won’t even be able to tell it was burned
@SirLiquorice thank you so much! I just didn’t want another dead plant 🤣
@KrunchyWrapz thank you!
Once you find a spot that they like and they look happy in try not to move them. Even for winter they need cold weather to rest and go dormant so I try not to move them unless it’s freezing cold weather with freezing winds. Then you need frost blankets or to move them to a warmer place. But most cacti can survive down to mid twenties if the soil is dry and wind is blocked. I have a bunch that did fine with only a frost blanket in 15-18 degrees
