Is something wrong with my new plant?
Guess what! After three months I've returned, I've got lots of plants but this one i got today from plantsome. It was shipped to me. The soil was soaked and when I looked under the leaves there were white dots and dirt. I cleaned the leaves with diluted soapy water (since I have nothing else to take care of bugs) and I put her in a sunny spot to hopefully get rid of the soaked soil! It took her 6 days to get here and her leaves look like this, I thought plants like her had dark leaves with white "veins". is she just roughed up from the delivery or is she infected/ill? She's an anthurium clarinervium
5ft to light, indirect

Itβs possible it may be struggling with watering issues or it could be an older leaf and since the plant is now acclimating to your environment, itβs settling and removing leaves that no longer give food.
I would snip the leaf at the base and keep an eye on your plant. Make sure that itβs semi-dry between waterings to avoid overwatering. You can do this by sticking a wooden skewer/stick down in the soil, and if it comes back up with soil stuck to it, donβt water for 2-3 days and check again :)

@kscape thank you so much! I was so worried that it was infected/ill haha. Atleast I cleaned it all up just incase of bugs. Ill snip off the leaf when I go home. I hope this plant will be a beauty like the other ones I've seen on the internet! Big and black with white lines, this is my dream plant so I really wanna take care of it
