She just looks like sheβs suffered some trauma. π But with TLC, sheβll do great! So, basics: if she just came to her new home today, then give her some time to adapt before replanting. Then you can use a succulent mix, your own mix, or pon. So many options. Just make sure sheβs in a well-draining pot and donβt let her sit in water. Succulents can be hilarious little liars sometimes about water. I know Joy on another post made a great observation of the key to success in succulents is less water instead of more. π - Iβm sorry I donβt remember her @ or Iβd tell you! π€¦ββοΈ BUT well-draining soil: I add sand and personally do a mix of a little pon, sand, orchid bark mix, and then a mix of soil, but thatβs kinda my βgo-toβ mix. π€ I wish you luck! Keep us posted! βΊοΈ
Thank you so much everyone. I will definitely check out those resources and ive got her in front of a window. Shes already starting to look happier. The only plant ive ever been able to keep alive was a succulent/cactus idk which it is and im pretty sure that's because I kept forgetting it existed until Id wash dishes--it was on the shelf behind the sink--id flick some water on it and then forget it again. Its still alive. Philonius on my profile a false Christmas cactus.
@luxatomica your gang looks great! Aloes are not easy to care for, so you definitely are doing something right. Iβm betting your plant is going to love her new home and family! In a month or so sheβll be massive and beautiful! When they flower itβs one of the most beautiful things. - I think that is. π best of luck, and keep us all updated!
@slayonium She shouldnβt have to read on Reddit if you scroll down on a plant you will find a whole community specifically for her exact plant. I also think @Idplantthat pretty much coved her in the right direction.
