@SportyWhiskfern Transplanting Bodhi and his plant babies can be a delicate process let me put everything I know down for you : Gentle Separation: When transplanting, gently separate the babies from Bodhi's main root ball. Use your fingers or a small tool to carefully loosen the soil around the babies' roots.
Individual Pots: Once separated, place the babies into their own individual pots with fresh, well-draining soil. Make sure the pots have drainage holes to avoid waterlogged roots.
Trim if Needed: If any roots are too tangled or overcrowded, you can trim them slightly to promote healthier growth.
Keep Soil Level: When replanting, make sure the soil level of the babies' new pots matches the level they were previously at in the old pot.
Water & TLC: After transplanting, water them gently and give them some extra care and attention during their adjustment period.
Repot Bodhi: Now that the babies are taken care of, repot Bodhi in a slightly larger pot with fresh soil, keeping his roots intact.
Mindful Handling: Be gentle throughout the process to minimize stress on both Bodhi and his plant babies.
Patience is Key: Give them all some time to adjust to their new homes, and soon they'll be thriving!
Remember, transplanting can be a bit nerve-wracking, but with your love and care, they'll all settle into their new spaces just fine. Good luck, and your green family will surely appreciate the effort you put into their well-being! 🌿🌱✨
Each baby gets his own pot? There are a lot of babies. Approximately 30 babies all different sizes. Can I put the tiniest babies in one pot till they get bigger ? And separate some of the larger ones with some of their babies that are attached ? I need to share some of Bodhi s babies.
Thank you so much for responding. I need to buy a lot of pots and soil and I’m so glad I asked for help. I just bought Bodhi this way.
I was thinking I could put them all in a much wider pot. What was I thinking?
