My snake plant I think has root rot
I water my snake plant 4.5 cups roughly every 2 weeks. I pulled out some big leaves with soggy discolored base
Oeff, yeah that rotting.
You should definitely get it out of the soil and check what's still savable.
If you are lucky the plant will still have a healthy base and maybe some roots.
Rinse well with water before checking and then cut off all the rotten/brown/mush/dead roots. And if the base of the plant also has rot, cut that off too!
Then spray with hydrogen peroxide and repot in some clean dry soil.
Wait about a week before watering again. Then only water when soil has been completely dry for a couple of days, always check the soil before watering!!
Good luck!
