Possibly too much water. How was she just giving your Plant the chopstick test. That is place of chopstick in the soil all the way down to the bottom of the pot. Be careful not to disturb the roots when you pull the chopstick out if there’s soil stuck to it they’re too much water. Make sure it has adequate drainage.
It most likely has to do with some sort of watering issue since it it going downhill that fast. Did you change any watering routines?
