Is this the correct way to water propagate #pothos?
It's my first time propagating pothos in water, so I want to make sure if I'm doing it correctly. I'm putting them in the bathroom. And other than soaking the roots, what else should I know about water propagation?

Hi Natalieβ¦Hope you are having a great day.
This is how Iβve always restarted new (propagated) Pothos or any plant.
First thingβ¦
* Take a cutting of your pothos. Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut off a piece of plant from the end of the original plant. ...
* Place the cuttings in water. ... once roots sprout
* Pot your rooted cutting. Iβve always had success with this technique. Good luck

@Zestfest thanks. Btw, should I add liquid fertilizer? Or use rooting hormone powder?
@SpiffyGonolobus I donβt use any of that with my propagations, and they seem to be doing great. The only time that I would add liquid fertilizer is if you plan to keep the plant in water for its whole life.
@NotableKonjac you don't need to submerge/bury the things you don't need to submerge/bury.
@SpiffyGonolobus here's mine. Each one is a different length (some shorter than others) so I had to fill it up to make sure all nodes were submerged in water. No leaves are in water
@IdolizedChamisa thanks for the explanation. I'm still new with growing pothos and still worrying overwater and underwater.
@NotableKonjac you are going to have some bushy pothos when they grow up. π
@SpiffyGonolobus that would be great! It was sick when I bought it so I'm trying to save it... I discovered it had root rot so I pulled off all of the roots and trying to regrow them. Fingers crossed! π€
