Help please Iβm panicking
#Peperomia I noticed those little insects in the pot of my raindrop peperomia. Does anyone know what they are? Springtails? Mites? I was so proud of Pippiπ #help

@SeyramG I canβt tell from that picture, youβd need a highly magnified one to distinguish any features. But do they spring? Like make quick springy movements? That would be a springtail if so, and they often hangout in and around the pot.
@DreamMachine Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, they run very fast and I think I can clearly see their little legs. As soon as they get close to the surface they go back down and never come out.
Theyβre probably springtails, which arenβt a problem. Theyβre in a lot of soil and then help keep everything clean by eating all the mold. Assuming theyβre springtails, they wonβt get out of control because the more of them there are, the less mold is available for them to eat, so it all balances out. Donβt take my word for it though! Good luck
@SeyramG you can use salt to bring them the the top
@FreshLovage53 thanks, this will be so precious if needed!
@SeyramG welcome
