Yellowing leaves

Question

Hello everyone! I’ve noticed some of the leaves on my orchid are yellowing a bit.  It was watered on the 16th, should I water again? #OrchidLovers

Is that the way you bought it from the store? Pot etc? Or have you checked roots and repotted already? I repot immediately after getting them home because most of the time they’re already rootbound upon purchase..

I would continue care in that pot until after it blooms. Those orchids I have a few and I noticed they like more water than my Phals do. Your specimen looks great the yellowing could just be from the adjustment to the new surroundings… one thing I look for is if the bulbs are starting to wrinkle it needs more water .. do not wait u til it wrinkles you want smooth bulbs like yours !! They like a good amount of light as well!!! I would say I am in Texas as well and I give mine a good drink room temp water once a week!! I have mine about 3 feet away from a south window …. Here is one in bloom sooo pretty !!
