What’s up with my white wizard philodendron? #RarePlants

Hi all, I’ve noticed something strange going on with my white wizard philodendron- on one leaf on the white part it’s started to go transparent and then turn brown, a bit at a time. I accidentally ripped the leaf yesterday when trying to get a better look. Is it that this part of the plant is not able to produce photosynthesis and so it dies off this quickly? I also thought it could be related to guttation or the humidity being high. Right now the humidity is at 55%, it’s near a humidifier, a fan for air movement, and under grow lights. None of the other leaves on this plant are having this issue, and I also have other variegated plants (pink Princess, Thai constellation Monstera) that do not do this. Thanks for the help in advance! #Variegated
I give all my plants that have white on them silica it helps the white from not turning brown like that
Silica! Brilliant - thank you!
Okay I don't want to sound dumb here but I don't know what that is I know I've heard of it but I don't know what it is or where to buy it at because I got a white night at Walmart recently and I would like to keep my white leaves white
@BuoyantSandleek I researched what previous poster said about silica - rice husks are rich in silica and can be added as a soil amendment. I ordered some off of Amazon and am adding it to a soil mixture for my big monsteras today, and I’ll add some to my philodendron mix as well. As for my busted leaf - I’m going to chop it off so the plant can redirect the energy into new growth.
It is either sunburnt or it needs more humidity
