I've never had a string of turtles 🐢 but I have killed 2 heats, 3 pearls and a banana so if you get a bamboo stick and stick in the soil to see if it's wet your plant will teach how often to water it. If you pull the stick out and there is now soil attached to it water it. They like light but not being 2 inches from a grow light is too much light for them. Bottom water is best
