The soil may be sooo dry that it actually repels water if you water from the top, so setting it in a bowl of water and letting it drink for an hour or so would be a good way to water it. Just don’t let it sit there in water for days or it will rot. And don’t spritz or mist it with water in between watering. It does not need humidity. It likes the dry weather, sun, and an occasional rain storm. ⛈️
