My Cilantro plant

My cilantro plant keeps looking like it’s dead, then at night usually it will stand a little tall. A quarter of the leaves are dry & brownish, half of the leaves are falling down & the other half of the plant is kind of standing.
How do you take care of a cilantro plant properly?
Sounds like it's getting blasted with either too much heat or too much direct sun during the day. Cilantro plants can quickly wilt if they're subjected to even brief periods of too much sun. At night when it's dark and the temps are cooler, it's able to recover a bit. But the dry, crispy leaves are signs of the damage done during the day. Where do you have your plant, and how much light has it been getting? What are your watering habits like?
