How do I deal with dead/ugly leaves?

#Aglaonema
1ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

@WillChards75 it looks like you have some brown damaged leaves from too much sun. I would cut them off or prune them back. Chinese Evergrees do no like direct sunlight so if your plant is in direct sun or too close to the window, the leaves can be scorched. I’d move it a few feet back from the window to indirect light. I have several varieties of Chinese Evergreen or Aglaonema and I keep them all in bright indirect lighting. If I don’t have a window, I substitute with grow lights. Here are a few of my varieties
I cut off dead or dying or crispy leaves on a plant, to allow it to concentrate on making and keeping new ones.
Where does one cut? Should it be near the base or just anywhere?
