@BusyTukauki  Too large of a pot coupled with transplant shock looks like the issue. The pot should only be 1" to 2" larger than the root ball. Anything larger and it will take too long for the soil to dry out. Roots need oxygen to breathe and if they are sitting in wet soil they basically suffocate and die. I'd suggest replanting in a smaller pot and moving the plant closer to a window. Within 3 feet from a light source is ideal. Or use grow lights as @NimbleBasil73 suggested.

When I first got into house plants I thought any soil would do I learned the hard way lol. I agree 100% with Heidi I was going to mention maybe our chunkier soil and so it dries out faster to help protect from root rot
