I would check on the type of soil that you are using. Your Freddy could benefit from succulent soil and the use of a plastic planter with a tray underneath so that the moisture stays longer . If you are determined to keep your current set up try soaking your plant in a large bucket then waiting 10 minutes before taking it out and letting it dry out.
