#MoneyTree

And help with the spots and browning leaf would be appreciated TIA
Hi Jaime! It says it’s in a pot without drainage- if that’s true then it definitely needs to be repotted to a pot with drainage drainage holes. Money trees do not like to sit in soggy soil. The soil should be a mixture of soil and perlite or pumice- I mix my own and it’s 50% soil and 40% perlite and 10% small orchid bark. The soil needs to be like this so water drains. Question- How long have you had it and have you taken the plant out if the pot to look for the rubber bands at the bottom of the caudex (trunk) that they put around the roots? If not- do that immediately, and take that off. I hope this helps.
@SillyPlantGirl thank you. I’ve only had it for two weeks. Still in the original pot. Thanks so much for this info! I’ll take it out today! I’m happy to hear there maybe some saving it.
You’re very welcome! I forgot to say- if there are leaves that are mostly yellow- you can pluck it off- they won’t green up and taking off icky parts help the plant grow new healthy ones
