What is this plant?
I rescued this plant from the clearance rack at Home Depot. It did not have a tag in it so I have no idea what it is. Greg says it’s a New Guinea impatiens but I don’t think it looks exactly like those. ChatGPT says it’s a young Persian shield. I’m honestly confused and have no guess as to what it is. Does anyone have any idea? #PlantID

@LeafyGreenz it’s definitely not a Persian shield. Their leaves are purple up top and under. This is a purple Waffle plant. It looks like it might need more humidity. It’s a good one though. Just don’t forget to water, they aren’t that forgiving to dry soil or low humidity
