My mango seed has mold :(
I have an other mango which is doing fine i did the same process with this one. I waited for some roots to appear and then I put the mango seed in water and changed the water frequently. Somehow its roots turned blackish and its sproutleaves dropped and the surface of the seed has mold. Can i still save this seed somehow ? I would appreciate any ideas that may help
@AstutePandan56 Could you please post a picture so we can see just what’s going on ? Also what was the process you speak of ?

i watched a lot of youtube videos on how to grow mango seeds. I took the seeds out and carefully cut it open then i put it in water and some cottonpads under it and covered it for humidity. With my last mango seed i had no problems at all, i regularly changed its water and after it begun to root and sprout i planted it and now its a 20cmish tall plant. However this one’s roots turned black and under itself. The top of the seed had a cut but that part didnt mold and i kept it out of water. (For the pictures i washed the seed but the mold spots were at the bottom of the seed on the brown side)
