It's kinda like that one thing during the tulipomania. The tulips will develop lovely bicolor spots on the petals, before dying. The growers thot it was a final goodbye, but it was actually a virus lol.
You CAN slow the browning by adding humidity and airflow, but they're gonna die anyway. Best you cut back to where it was still green
