How treat corms?

Today I reported my alocasia regal shield and take some corms.

I put then in a pot and covered with like 2 fingers of soil. I never do this πŸ˜‚ Is it right? I don’t have small pots or nursery pots yet but what would you recommend to not failing propagation this?

Thanks.

I have had the best results via planting the corms in a propagation box or sealed container with sphagnum moss and perlite. High humidity is key. Ensure enough light to stimulate growth. Some people peal the outer brown layer off. However, I have found this unnecessary. Luck to you!
