Plant ID and care help

This beautiful baby popped up in the garden recently and I have no idea where it came from or what it is! Whatever it is I love it and and I’m really hoping I can pot it and bring it inside, since the majority of my indoor plants are currently succulents

I’d appreciate it if anybody could ID what kind of plant this is:) The leaves are fuzzy but the stems are prickly. It was in a fully shaded spot.

Also is anyone able to tell what caused the first leaf to turn light brown and crunchy? The roots seem okay to me so I’m thinking it’s just been underwatered? #PlantID #WhatPlantIsThis #OutdoorGrowing #NewPlant

Hey! Definitely not a Begonia maculata, since, as you noted, it’s missing the characteristic red underside of the maculata, and this plant’s petiole does not connect to the leaf near the center of the leaf like the maculata’s does. I’m quite positive this is a Lungwort, and a Pulmonaria saccharata specifically - should match the leaf shape, spotting pattern, leaf texture, and growth habit. Here’s a good article on care, note the “potting and repotting” section if you’re dead set on bringing it inside, as it does tend to be easier as a garden plant than an indoor one https://www.thespruce.com/pulmonaria-1402859
Both Greg and Google are in agreement that it is a Begonia maculata. Pretty! As it grows it may be easier to ID it positively because the leaf shape may change a bit. I love the polka dots!

Here are the basics from Greg:
@UltraKoreanfir thank you! the polka dots are exactly what I fell in love with! These plants definitely look quite similar but unfortunately mine doesn’t have any of the red on the underside of its leaves which the smaller begonias seem to already have:( the bottom if these ones is a solid pale green with no spots
@lichenheart gotta start by saying thanks so much for your help and I absolutely LOVE your snover profile picture! I’ve started looking at Lungwort and was thinking it seems like the most probable option aswell. Shade growing plant with big spotted fuzzy leaves definitely checks all my boxes. If I left it in the garden it 100% would’ve been deemed a weed and removed so I couldn’t let that happen😂 was quite upset when he was first potted but at least he’s standing back up now!🤩 (ignore the cinnamon i immediately spilled all over it)
Aw I’m so glad!! And thank you! Glad he’s happy and doing well 🩵
