I would err on the side of more water than less and dowsing in a bucket or sink rather than misting. every three days or so indoors was what I did, but I couldn't stand keeping it in the house. it's in a tree out front now. yours looks really healthy! I would keep doing what you are doing.
It doesn’t need soil! They’re epiphytes so they attach to trees in the wild and live off their nutrients and the nutrients in the air. I recommend misting every day or two and soaking it completely once or twice a month depending on the humidity and temperature where you live. They need some sunlight but not a lot (they don’t like direct sunlight) and you can buy air plant fertiliser to help it grow or make you’re own by heavily diluting organic fertiliser in a spray bottle. You would fertilise once a month March-October
To soak it: submerge completely in room temp or lukewarm water for 30m, hang dry or on paper towels for 1hr before placing back in its spot
Thank you everyone!
@wayout i just got it today thats why it looks good. Im in a nyc apt. So it has to stay indoors. But i gave it a good soak when it got home.
