How to help Potentilla after delivery?
Just got these delivered and it was not best package ever, so I wonder, how to help them?
I have bigger pots ready, and I planned on repoting (keeping the substrate they are in as it is).
Not sure what to do about general damage. Should I try to untangle and space them? Or prune? Or leave be?
I plan to put them on terrace but probably keep them in for few days as it is very hot now.
Probably keep at separate room because of possible pests?

This isn’t plant specific, but I think plants are in general very versatile. I would keep it out of the direct Son and simply if it’s damaged or ugly or diseased, cut it off no matter the plant. Your plant = your masterpiece

This is the best part of growing there is no right or wrong. As long as you use a “lil sense” which you clearly have more then a lil you have a step by step process in your head already don’t question yourself.

Yes acclimate them to your grow area/environment for pest possibly
Yes spray them off heavily bc why not it eliminates  a lot of pests or ruins their idle conditions
One thing that may be very important depending on what type of place the plant came from whether it was inside or outside makes a difference in how long or well it will acclimate to outdoors. Plants from indoors or greenhouses are definitely more tender than one grown from start outside.

And, it looks like you’re off too adding some more great plants to your collection that you’re going to do well with great job
