Brown patches on some leaves Any ideas very welcome
Last watered 1 year ago
I think @motherearth83 is right.
If it was a water issue, the whole leaf would be looking bad, but except for a little yellowing, the green parts still seem fine.
Pest, mold, or disease damage also tends to come out much less dry in my experience. It usually manifests in a yellowing or a rot, and if it does eventually get dry and crinkly like that, then it's very gradual. But based on the way it's held up its shape, without any breakage or curling, it seems to me that it was probably a much faster change.
The only thing I can really think of that would have dried it out that quickly like that, in such large patches, is sunburn.
Move it somewhere where it'll still get plenty of light, but the sun won't be hitting it directly for too long.

@TigerCrab999 thank you
@motherearth83 thanks
@motherearth83 I think I misted it on a hot day and then it was burnt by being in direct sunlight
@WillGardenphlox Yeah, most plants don't really need to be misted. Just finger poke the soil to test for dryness and go from there.
