bushy's been dropping a bunch of leaves

I've had my common boxwood for almost half a year now and it's been recently dropping a bunch of leaves. from what I see, the leaves turn brown/copper and drop. it did drop leaves before but not as much as it is dropping now. the whole centre part of the plant is basically empty now.

High Slumber, you may possibly have a fungus on the leaves. You may want to use some Neem oil. That is a natural oil from the Neem plant. It also kills small insects like aphids and spider mites. Copper fungicide also works however, that is a bit heavy-handed in my opinion. You may want to repot the plant. Check the roots make sure there is no root rot. Repot the plant in fresh soil. Next, do you wanna make sure itโ€™s not too close to window. If it is close to a window at midday, place your arm next to the plant facing the window if thereโ€™s too much heat on your arm then itโ€™s too much heat on the plant. Also make sure youโ€™re not overwatering the plant. You can do this by putting your finger about 2 inches into the soil when you pull your finger out if thereโ€™s any soil sticking into your finger, the soil is too wet. I hope this helps. Good luck.

hi, for repotting the plant, what type is the best? I've searched that loamy soil works best but I can't find any near me. I've searched that succulent soil also works but I'm not sure how to get the pH to work best for it. any suggestions?
@eternalwatcher , hi Slumber. This may help. Good luck. https://gardeninsider.org/plants/shrubs/boxwood-soil-preparation/
@eternalwatcher , I have a pH meter which was given to me as a gift, but you can buy them in Walmart or any garden center. I find out what the ideal pH is for my soil and adjusted accordingly just too much alkaline. I chop up Pine needles or coffee and put that on the soil. I also have a small bag of lime that I used to raise the alkalinity of soil if necessary.
