My plant has yellow pines, does it need more sunlight

They like a lot of sun and I have to water mine every 3 or 4 days. They get very thirsty. All of my bonsai do. I have had 3 for many years and they all get water very often. I was for sure they would get root rot but no they dry out super fast

So my point was they need to be watered way more then regular plants..
